My dvd remote...

Naomi and I watched Sicko, the new Michael Moore "documentary" this weekend, and used my dvd plyer's remote for the first time (i thought it didn't work... i acquired the dvd player when someone left it in the apartment i lived in this summer... it didn't work then, so i hadn't tried it before tonight...)

i looked at the remote and guess what i saw:
yep... a 238, right there on the remote. (trust me... under the "COBY" it says "DVD-238"...)

by the way, i want to learn french so i can move to france. free healthcare is a pretty good incentive for learning french...

Beef O's

So, after church, Naomi and I went to Beef O'Brady's for lunch. we sat down, and I was looking at some of their sports memorabilia on the walls when I saw this:
it's a runner's number from some race that someone ran. crazy, huh?

update issues

ok, so i haven't updated in a while... mainly because my sightings recently have been documented on Naomis' phone. i will update when i can get the images to my computer.

We Are... MARSHALL!

so... Naomi and I just got done watching We Are Marshall... one word... Awesome... very good movie... but anyways - back to the subject... we were watching, and during the movie they play Xavier University... their QB was number 2, their RB number 38... and at one point, they run a play that ends up with them looking like this:

here's one i forgot about...

so, i forgot about this one... Naomi and I went to meet with the caterer last thursday, and then went to eat with my mom... after eating, my mom asked if we could go to Walmart to get a bulb for her taillight on her car... so, we walked into walmart and were looking at the TVs, when we came across a TV stand... guess how much it cost...

Lones Sieber is in on it, too...

So there I was, sitting in the stands at the UK-UF football game, and Lones Sieber kicked a field goal (and made it... on the second try of the day)... with 2:38 remaining in the 1st half... luckily, there was a TV timeout, so i could get my phone out and get the shot... it was hard, mainly because the sun was shining right on the scoreboard behind me, so i couldn't get the close-up shot like i had before... so, if you can't exactly see the time, just believe me. all of the fans in Commonwealth stadium did... We Believe...

car clock again...

So there I was, sitting in my mom's car on the way to the UK-UF football game and i happened to look down at her car's clock... and guess what time it was...

printmaking

So there i was, looking aroung the Chellegren Collection exhibit at te AWW Gallery, when I came across a print that caught my eye... it had all kinds of studd written on top of the print (shapes, numbers, etc.), and i was just perusing the image when all of a sudden i saw the number 2, 3, and 8... but when i looked at it from a normal perspective, the numbers were going from the 8 at the top to the 2 at the bottom... but then there was this little arrow near the 2, pointing up... so now everyone is against me... not really, but i see it everywhere... art included.

So there i was, meeting in the Mulberry, and I saw Juckett studying for the GRE... guess what page he was on... that's right...

it's a band called twothirtyeight... don't really know quite how they sound yet...

UPDATE::
This band is no longer around. They were on Tooth & Nail until their final album, "You Should Be Living". The band officially called it quits in April of 2003. Sad news... they were actually pretty decent.

238 in a loss...

I may not have won, but I got another sighting! I lost to Chris Cherry, who has no life other than playing fantasy sports... so I'm not too bent out of shape.

Sighting #1

So, it was a late night last night... Naomi called and asked if i wanted to go to get some donuts from Hong's... because we were both up... I agreed, and we went to get donuts. On the way, i looked to see what time it was:



Also, she would like it to be known that 238 was actually her number first, and it has now started to follow me...
